Terms

1. Who we are

TriedTruly (“we”). We run a marketplace where brands offer products or services to reviewers, and reviewers publish honest, labelled reviews. These terms apply to everyone with an account.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 and give accurate information.
• We approve reviewers and brands individually and may decline or remove an account.
• You are responsible for what happens under your login. You can delete your account at any time from your profile.

3. Reviewers

• You post only your own honest opinion about things you have actually used.
• Every review must be clearly labelled as advertising in the way our review rules describe for your country. In Norway that means opening with «Reklame» or «Annonse».
• You post from accounts you own and keep the review public.
• Every review includes a star rating. Any rating qualifies. You are never asked for a particular verdict.
• You follow the rules of the platform you post on. Some platforms restrict rewarded reviews.
• Free products and payments may be taxable income. Reporting them is your responsibility.

4. Brands

• You may brief reviewers on what to cover. You may not ask for a rating, a recommendation, or silence about problems.
• You choose which approved reviewers take part. You cannot edit, approve or reject what they publish.
• You deliver the product or perk you offered to every reviewer whose review is verified, whatever it says.
• You are responsible for your campaign being lawful where it runs, including the platforms you choose and the products you promote.
• Verified reviews and their star ratings appear on your public TriedTruly page. We do not remove them because they are critical.

5. Verification

We check each review against a published checklist: correct platform and author, about the product, posted after selection, public, and labelled. We decide whether a review passes. A review is never rejected for being negative.

6. Fees and payments

Fees for brands, and any payments to reviewers, are shown before you commit. Payment processing is provided by a third-party payment provider under its own terms.

7. Content and conduct

• You keep the rights to what you publish. You allow us and the brand to link to it and show an excerpt and your star rating.
• No fake reviews, no reviews of things you have not used, no unlawful, hateful or misleading content.
• We may suspend accounts that break these terms or the law.

8. Liability

We provide the marketplace and the verification. We are not a party to the arrangement between a brand and a reviewer and are not responsible for the products, for what reviewers publish, or for decisions made by third-party platforms. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will tell you before a material change takes effect. Norwegian law applies, and disputes are heard by the courts at our registered seat unless mandatory law says otherwise.
